How to connect an onn. soundbar to a Hisense Roku TV

If the built‑in speakers of your Hisense Roku TV are not enough, you can connect an onn. soundbar — this is a fairly simple way to improve the sound. The good news is that you don’t need any special equipment or complex setup for this.

There are several ways to connect an onn. soundbar to a Hisense Roku TV. The best option depends on what ports are available on both devices.

In this guide, I will talk about the most common connection methods, as well as what to do if you’ve connected everything but still don’t hear any sound.

Before you start

Before connecting anything, take a look at the back or side panel of the TV and the soundbar.

On the Hisense Roku TV, find one of the following connectors:

  • HDMI ARC or HDMI eARC
  • Optical audio output
  • 3.5 mm audio output for headphones
